At Doorstep, our first love is food and its ability to unite people. Our ethos is to use a variety of high quality ingredients to cook delicious and unfussy dishes from scratch. 

Growing up in Brazil and moving back to the UK to settle in Woodbridge, sparked Chloe’s interest in the role food plays for different cultures. After leaving university, she started her food journey with a stage in Tuscany where she met and went on to work for renowned baker, Claire Ptak, at her bakery Violet, in Hackney. Later, she returned to Suffolk to work at Darsham Nurseries. Now Chloe spends her time cooking and building up the business with the help of her family.

With emphasis on the farm-to-table concept, Doorstep works closely with a selection of excellent Suffolk based suppliers such as Pump Street Bakery, Virginia Nurseries and Maple Farm. We are committed to ensuring our meals are worthy of the ingredients we source from them.
